how to activate cs4 [with a Creative Cloud membership]?

I'm paying for Animate CC, and I wanted to go back farther than CS6. So I set my sites on Flash CS4. So I get an installer from prodesigntools.com, but it doesn't let me activate without a serial. How do I do this?

Then you may download the new version if your computer supports it.

CC versions do not include CS versions, so unless you have a valid serial number for a CC version, you won't be able to activate it.

Downloading an old install program requires you to have bought the program in the past and saved your serial number

you can't. your cc license includes the current cc version and one major older version.

well i can activate cs6 throught cc 2021 with my cc license, so why not cs4?

I am surprised you are still able to do that, since using CS6 with a cloud subscription has been removed

CS4 was never allowed with a subscription, only CS6
