how to activate premiere elements 12

I've downloaded and used the program recently. In my Adobe Account it shows that nothing in activated.

Help>Activate is not listed or available for some reason.

1. How to tell if I am indeed activated

2. How to, if I'm not (I bought it over a year ago and never used it then-and don't recall if I activated it then)

i'm assuming you do NOT have an enterprise/teams subscription, esp with that os.

open premiere > click help > if sign-in/activate is clickable, it's not activated.

to activate, have your serial number handy, click sign-in or activate and then follow the instructions.

Well that was easy, thanks! Wonder why it doesn't show up as activated on my acct's page...

if you bought it one year ago, you didn't buy it from adobe and you didn't register it.
