How-to activated Adobe PhotoShop CS (8.0)

I am trying to activate Adobe Photoshop CS (8.0) on Windows 8.1, but it informed to "Activate Later, The activation system is not available at this time ...." . I found that Adobe Activate System for older version was aborted. What should I do?

      This link is available for CS2 license, but I have CS license (version 8.0).

      Applies to CS owners too.

      In any case, Adobe leaves you with no other option than downloading the non-activation version of CS2 since they closed the activation server for all software older than CS2.
