Hello

I am based in India. I want to buy Adobe InDesign (month-to-month) subscription costing INR 2,029/month. Digital River Ireland Ltd., an Adobe-approved e-commerce reseller based outside India, asks for international transaction fee?

Q1: How much is international transaction fee? What will be the total cost of the subscription?

Q2: How to avoid international transaction fee?

Q3: Does Adobe directly sell in India?

I have tried to buy the same app online from Adobe.com. While placing order, I received the following message:

“Even though prices are stated in your local currency, this transaction may constitute an international transaction, since you are purchasing from Digital River Ireland Ltd., an Adobe-approved e-commerce reseller. In addition to the price charged for the software, your credit card or bank may levy additional bank or credit card fees or fees for currency conversion. Please verify with your credit card or bank whether additional amounts will be charged before you make your purchase.”

Could anyone help?

The internationsl transaction fee is set by your card issuer, and so you must ask them the cost. Paying for a year can reducecsuch costs a lot.
