I have been trying to do this too, and after much frustration, and scouring the internet for answers, I finally found this comment from an Adobe employee back in 2015:

"Creative cloud Desktop app cannot be installed on D Drive it needs to be installed on C Drive or O.S drive"

And this note on the Adobe Download and Installation page for the Creative Cloud desktop app, last updated May 2025:

"The Creative Cloud desktop app always installs in the default location. You cannot specify a different folder or drive."

Looks like there's no getting around it. But we can at least change the installation path for the apps within Creative Cloud.

With the CC application opened, choose the little gear icon in the upper right corner and then choose Preferences.  In the Preferences screen select Creative Cloud and then look for the Install Location drop down

This is not what i'm asking for. My CC application (as you sad) installed into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud". I don't want it. I want to install my CC application into "C:\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud" folder, for example.

Again, i don't mean the applications which included in the "Creative Cloud" Croup (Photoshop CC, Adobe Premiere and others), i mean the "Creative Cloud" application it's self.

When i start "CreativeCloudSet-Up(1).exe" i can't choose installation folder and it's installing into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud". I want change that!

Thank you.
