How to change installation location from a Creative Suite 6 CD

A while back I had installed the Adobe Creative Suite 6 on my desktop and mostly ran the Adobe Acrobat X program, which I loved. I had originally installed those programs on a drive other than the C: drive because I was running out of space. Recently that alternate drive started to have data integrity issues and I replaced it. The computer tech mapped the new hard drive to another location. Initially I ran a repair utility and Acrobat worked again. Today Acrobat refused to even start and even the repair utility isn't working. I uninstalled Acrobat and then tried to re-install it from the original CD, which would work fine IF the CD allowed me to change the installation location. It's still pointing to a non-existent drive and does not allow me to change the location for installation. Any ideas about where the CD gets this info and how I might be able to change it?

I also tried downloading the file from the Adobe website and after wasting a lot of time and data, it told me my product key was invalid. It's definitely not invalid since the original CD autofills the same number.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I'm pulling my hair out over this one.

Thanks,

Cathy

Change the drive letter of the new drive to the same drive letter as the drive it replaced using Disk Management:

Thanks. I thought about that but I would have hours of work to redirect all the broken links on my shortcuts, though I suppose I could change it back after installation. It just seems really dumb on Adobe's part not to provide an option to change the location, especially when it gives me a warning that there is no space available on the phantom drive.

You may need to run the cleaner to remove all residual information and then do a fresh install

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
