how to get cs 5 to recognize NEF files

i just reloaded my cs 5 into a new windows 10 computer and cn't remember how to get the software to recognize NEF files...must be a patch or plug in available?

    Is this for Photoshop CS5?

    NEF files from which Nikon camera?

    You need the version of Camera Raw which recognises the Raw files from your camera.

    Cameras supported by Adobe Camera Raw

    Try clicking Help > Updates in Photoshop to update Camera Raw.

    This Cloud forum is not about help with program problems... a program would be Photoshop or Lighroom or Muse or ???

    First, that software is old enough that it may not work at all with Windows 10... but

    An idea that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10
