How to get Elem. 12 installation pass shared technology?

I have tried to install Elements 12 twice today. Both times have gotten message "shared technology failed to install". and the installation stopped.

Have all Nortons temp. suspended. Have checked troubleshooting and am not experienced enough to change name of OOBE as suggested by troubleshooter.

Need help.

    Thank you for returning my request for help. I have tried today to get on a chat line but it must be very busy as no one answered my request.
