I bought Creative suite CS6 in 2012, and installed onto a MAC desktop and laptop. My laptop is now defunct and I would like to download the whole package again onto a new Mac laptop. How do I do this. I have  the serial #. i have been navigating the Adobe sites for hours and cannot find any answers. Thanks for your help.

When you have a non-functioning computer and can't deactivate

Be sure to ONLY ask for activation support to adjust your activation count

Serial number and activation support (non-Cloud) https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2041990

You install programs exactly the same way you did the 1st time... put your disc in the drive and enter your serial number when asked

.

Download & Install instructions https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003339 may help

-includes a way to go to a page to download Adobe programs if you don't have a disc or drive

-you will need to enter your original serial number during install for non-Cloud programs

-or kglad links in reply #1 here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2222942 may help

Of course, if your new laptop uses El Capitan or Sierra, your CS6 may not install or work properly

For Mac El Capitan or the newer Sierra operating system read below

-CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated for Mac El Capitan/Sierra

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems

-you may get CS6 and earlier programs to install and run, or you may not (some do, some don't)

-Java https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/dreamweaver-java-se-6-runtime.html may help

Install CS5 on Mac 10.11 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003455 may help (also for other than CS5)

-also a TEMPORARY security change https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2039319

if you see an activation count error during installation, contact adobe support and request an activation count reset.

contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'still need help', http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-ccm.html

Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

I finally made it.

Unfortunately After Effects does not work with El Capitan, Photoshop and Premiere do.

Thank you for your help.
