How to install CS5.5 in Windows 7 or Windows 10? I have a valid serial number and software

I own CS5.5 and installed it in 2015 on my Windows 7 PC and registered it and in my Aodbe account there's a "download" option to install it on a second PC.

I called Adobe today and they said it can no longer be download/intalled on Windows 7 but that I can install the download in my account onto Window 10.

Is this true that it won't install on Windows 7 any longer and just on Windows 10?

Has anyone successfully download it to Windows 7?

Thank you in advance!

Creative Suite 5.5 is guaranteed to work up to Windows 8.
This is mentioned in the system information for Creative Suite 6.

This does not mean that it is guaranteed for Windows 10 or later.

System requirements | Adobe Creative Suite 6

Installer and programs may work on Windows 10 and later, but at your own risk.
Also, update patches are no longer available, so stable operation may not be expected.

Originally, this version was discontinued in May 2012, so it is more than 11 years old.
No one can guarantee that an old program will run in a new environment.

Windows 7 support ended over 3 years ago.
It is not an appropriate state to have an Internet connection.

it will install on win 7, win 10 and win 11.

you need your serial number, the matching installation file and perseverance.

CS5-through-CS6 are no longer supported by Adobe, so the chat agents are not always correct

Try the install and find out if it works for you... you MAY have a problem entering the serial number for activation

-on Windows be sure to do the EASYFIX.MSI in step 2 of the above link
