How to keep lightroom activated while traveling with no internet connection

This is a real question. Went down to Cuba for a couple of weeks. There is marginal internet at best only in major cities. This is not unique to Cuba.

Upgrading from LR5 to LR6 is an option but may not be a permanent solution when LR7 arrives. I'm looking for a seamless solution for long photo trips.

Does Adobe have some sort of "Travel Option" that can be activated for a period of weeks or should I start looking for another vendor?

You use past tense when you talk about traveling to Cuba. Have you been there, already? How did LR perform, or did you not try, there?

What version of LR do you have?

You can test what happens when there is no internet by shutting off the Wi Fi on your laptop and rebooting and seeing if you can get into Adobe software or not.

If there is no internet connection, the licensing is supposed to be cached for several weeks or months.

The issue happens when there is internet but you don’t log in to your Adobe account, then the software will run in trial mode for 30 days and then deny access unless you log in.
