How to know 24 digit serial number

Hello,

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 6 (illustrator CS6 and Photoshop CS6) about 2 years ago.

I did not register the product on AdobeIDs since it was not mandatory.

This now becomes a problem.

I have deactivated the products because I bought a new Mac and wanted to use the products in my new Mac.

What turned out is that I need 24 digit serial number on AdobeIDs, which I do not know.

All I know is my 16 digit serial number, starting from 9547xxxxxxxxxxxx.

I contacted with Adobe support team.

What I leaned is that I need to purchase CC product, and costs ~20-30 USD every single month with an annual contract.

I simply do not understand why I need to pay such a money.

After having rather uncomfortable conversations with them, I now simply want to activate the products (Adobe illustrator CS6 and Photoshop CS6) in my old machine again.

When I try to do so, I am again asked for the unknown 24 digit serial number.

I am rather frustrated with the current situation.

Is there any way to improve the situation?

Takamasat98641436 the registration process for Creative Suite 6 was automatic.  It was tied to your account when you signed in with the Adobe ID.

There are no Adobe software titles under the e-mail address you are using to post to this public forum.  Please contact our support team at Contact Customer Care to locate the missing Creative Suite 6 serial number.  You will want to be prepared with any alternate e-mail addresses, or phone numbers, that may have been used to register the software.

you have 3 ways to recover a serial number that you once had:

1. you can check your account (if you purchased from or registered with adobe), https://accounts.adobe.com

2. if your adobe program is installed on another computer you can recover its serial number from that computer, (win:) http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html, (mac:)  https://mac-product-key-finder.com/

3. http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html

Hello,

Thank you for your help.

However, none of them works to me.

1. does not work because I did not register the product on Adobe website.

2. does not work because the software does not find the serial number.

3. does not work. This is why I asked for the adobe supporting team at the first place.

It seems I am stuck, and I can imagine other people could be fallen into the same situation, and some of them may have had to pay the 20-30 USD monthly fee even if they were not happy to do so.

Does any one know the way to change this situation?
