Question

How to turn off AdobeNotificationClient.exe for nVidia SLI update

In order to perform a recurring modification required by my nVidia Control Panel, I must turn off "AcrobatNotificationClient.exe".  I cannot find this running program to turn it off.  I have looked in the Task Manager under Processes and Services, I have also looked using msconfig and do not see it anywhere.

The only solution I have found it to uninstall Acrobat, make the updates to the nVidia cards, then reinstall - which is a real pain.

Any and all advise appreciated.

Solution -  Found the process that turns this .exe off.

    "Notification Manager for Adobe Acrobat"

Stopping this process kills the "AdobeNotificationClient.exe" program allowing nVidia to do it's thing.

    Thanks!

Thank you for your response. I have turned off update service - in fact, I have turned off all Adobe programs and processes running, as shown in the task manager (programs tab and services tab), and using MSCONFIG, and using SERVICES.MSC. Still, this little .exe keeps running. I also cannot locate this Acrobatnotificationclient.exe file anywhere on my hard drive.

if you have adobe reader installed, uninstall it and leave it uninstalled.
