Do I need to deinstall all CS6 versions before installing the CC version? The application manager does not provide the CC Software.

Just two things for better clarification.

I did notch purchase the CS6 Creative Suite but I signed for the Adobe Creative Cloud. Further I have installed several CS6 products on two machines.

Does that make any difference for my issue?

I followed your instructions but all products still remain as CS6 Version.

Let me tell you If creative Suite 6 is installed on your machine and you have activated the software using your Adobe ID on which you have purchased Creative Cloud Subscrition.

Installer doesn't make a diffrence for creative cloud subscription, if your subscription is in the activated mode then software will get activate by using subscription ID only, As the software got activated in the third step as you mentioned so please use the software now it should work fine.

Please confirm if your getting any massage on the screen while launching the software.

Roger, Just to make things clear, CC is not yet launched. So, you will not be able to update your CS6 apps right now.

After the launch of CC on 17th June, you will get the prompt to update your apps and then you can install CC apps without uninstalling the CS6 ones.

Please confirm which all software are installed on your computer,

if Creative Suite 6 is install then there is no need to uninsall the software to activate creative cloud license on your machine, simply launch any one software from creative suite like : photoshop, illiustrator on your machine and deactivate the present license activated on your computer by clicking the help menu and selecting Deactivate button.

If all softwares are installed as standalone then deactivate all the software one by one.

After deactivating the software lauch any one software like : photoshop, illustratior on your computer and click on license this software button on the pop-up window apears.

Hi Jatin,

I followed below mentioned steps. First I opened Photoshop and clicked on 'deactivate'. The popup window gave me all CS6 installations: Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Indesign, Dreamweaver, Fireworks.

After deactivating all these products with one click I closed Photoshop and opened it again. I had to accept the terms of use and logged in with my Adobe credentials.

Then I still worked with the CS6 Version instead of CC. Same happened to Flash or After Effects.

Thanks

Roger
