How to use CS6 Suite with old Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6?

I CANNOT afford the current prohibitively high priced Adobe subscription programs!

I paid for and own the CS suite and Lightroom 4.

QUESTION: How to use Adobe CS6 suite and Lightroom 4 with Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6—which is the last OS that supports CS6 as far as I know?

Do I need to dedicate an old computer to these or should I make a bootable OS Mojave 10.14.6? on an external drive?

I cannot be the only person who has this issue.

If you get a newer mac Intel or M1, then even if you have the external bootable Mojave, it won't work on a mac that didn't orginally ship with Mojave or older macOS. There are exceptions, but 99% of the time the former is true.

So it's best to reserve an older mac for Mojave.

Depending on how stable/fast your wifi or network is you can Share your screen and files with the newer mac.

I often do this with our 2001 Power Mac G4 Quicksilver with Tiger 10.4.11 for transferring files or a quick use of a application that doesn't run on the M1 Mac Studio, since the Quicksilver is all the way down in the basement, saving multiple trips.

As @kglad says, what issue are you having exactly? Mojave is fine for those versions.

If you have your serial numbers then download and install the software, enter your serial numbers when prompted and you're good to go.

you can install and activate cs6 and lr 4 on any compatible computer.

Thanks for the replies.

I am not having any problems with either program. I am trying to avoid problems with OSs after Mojave.

I am aware that Adobe no longer supports either program but, they work just fine with Mojave.

I simply want to know whether using a bootable Mojave OS on an external drive or flash drive would be better or just as good as would be keeping the OS and both LR and Photoshop on an older computer.

you won't be able to install on an external drive.
