How to validate my license number on Light room software?

I've been using Light room 5 trial version during 30 days. After that I bought Light room CD and i've got serial number behind the CD. But how can I activate this serial number? I registered on Adobe we site on this product but I still can not use Lightroom 5,, cause it says trial version has expired.

    And if you don't have the License this Software option, then you have the Cloud-licensed version o fLR install and you need to serial-number-licensed version, instead.  The way to fix this is to uninstall whatever LR 5 you have installed now, and then download and install from the LR 5.7 download on the Adobe Updates page:

    http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
