I accidentally uninstalled acrobat and I can't re-download it....

Cé Lia what version of Acrobat are you trying to reinstall?  Do you have a Creative Cloud Membership or do you own a license for Acrobat?

Hi Jeff, I have a CC membership and I wish to reinstall the latest version, on a macbook pro

When I go on the CC web page - as it appears as installed in the CC app - I click on the download button but nothing happens....

Make sure you are logged in with your membership logon. Do you go through the Adobe application manager? Because first you have to install it. And install the software with the manager not directly from the website.

Another reason would be that you have used all your activations. If so, open any of the Adobe softwares and click on "disconnect"(sign out, logoff or deactivate). Once in the activation window find "deactivate all" and you should be back in business.
