I am asked to renew my Creative Cloud subscription. Trying to use my CS6 software

I am having the same problem. I can't use my CS6 software on my Mac that I have had for YEARS. My disks and license are packed up with the rest of my home in another state I am moving to once my house sells, so uninstalling and reinstalling won't work for me now. I paid a fortune for 2 years for Creative Cloud to be able to use dreamweaver a few times a year. Bad thing was, it was no better than CS6 at building mobile websites! I uninstalled CC and ran the cleaner and was able to use my CS6 software for a week or so, but now the Adobe Application Manager comes up and tells me to renew Creative Cloud to continue using my software! I am using software that I bought, not CC Software. I removed that junk a month ago. BUt now it has kidnapped my working software. Adobe should be ashamed of themselves and I am sorry I paid through the nose for software that was going to steal my other software. Dreamweaver is years behind other software in terms of mobile design. I pretty much stuck with Adobe for the template, but it's time to look at other options. Pinegrow Pro excels at responsive design and has master pages. I have been seesawing due to learning new software but Adobe's gangster tactics just made me go there.

Murdergal if you are being prompted to renew your membership then it is likely you still have updated components installed from the Creative Cloud membership.  Please complete the process described in Uninstall or remove Creative Cloud apps to remove any currently installed Adobe software.  This includes Creative Cloud, Creative Suite, Acrobat, and Elements installations.

Once you have uninstalled the applications then please run the CC Cleaner Tool again, available at Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems, to verify a complete removal.

When you are ready to reinstall Creative Suite 6 you can find the installation files at Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications.  In addition your registered serial number is located under your account at http:///www.adobe.com/.  Details on how to locate your registered serial number can be found at Find your serial number.  There is no need to unpack and locate your software to reinstall Creative Suite 6.
