I have deactivated the product on my old computer and downloaded from adobe CS5 Photoshop (my original purchase was a download from the web, not on disk). When i click install on my new computer i receive the message "“Install” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image. “Install” is on the disk image “Photoshop_12_LS1-2.dmg”. Safari downloaded this disk image today at 2:28 PM from trials2.adobe.com."

This information is a MUST DO to install old programs on Mac El Capitan

-you may not get the same error message, but these two links will help with old programs

Install CS5 on Mac 10.11 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003455 may help (also for other than CS5)

-also a TEMPORARY security change https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2039319
