I am downloading the premiere elements 12 file on the adobe page and my error message says the file archive is missing??

you need the 7z file in addition to the exe

The problem is that hitting these links is what's causing the error in the first place. I loaded the 7z file but then when I do the EXE and get the error. I see a number of people have this problem but no answers. Where is Adobe on this. Live Chat seems to be a advertised but not real and no phone lines are listed for questions. F on customer service Adobe.

download both the 7z and the exe to the same directory. then click (or double click) the exe.

if you see archive missing error, your exe and 7z are mismatched. ie, they are for different programs.
