I am having problems applying my Illustrator 16.0.3 update

Sorry but that Troubleshoot thread you guys posted is extremely confusing to me. Can someone explane to me how to fix my illustrator? after applying 16.0.3?!!

    Branched this out to a new discussion as the one you responded to was for users facing issue with the Illustrator 16.2 update.  Previously there was information provided on how to review and interpret your log files.  These instructions can be found at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.

    Alternately you are welcome to run the Adobe Support Advisor located at http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/ to review your installation log.
