I am trying to install my creative suite 5 onto my Surface Pro 3 tablet. I have all of the discs and the serial numbers, but when I click to install the products, I get a Database error. What gives. It is not compatible with Windows 8? Is there an upgrade or am I just s out of luck?

Ritch257 what specific error message do you receive when you attempt to install Creative Suite 5?

Did you migrate/transfer any applications or files from a previous computer?  If you need to download a fresh copy of the installation files they can be found at Download CS5 products.

Apparently I've stumped the forum. It's been nearly an hour and no answer. Everyone else seems to get a response. What gives?

The screen reads: "your installation encountered errors" then lower on the screen "inconsistency in the installer database.restart your computer and install again."

I have restarted twice with the same result. Not wishing to demonstrate my craziness I decided twice was enough expecting different results. Since I'm using discs can I use a down load product? I had this installed on three machines previously but permanently deactivated it from my old Windows 7 laptop. Thanx for any help you can give.
