i am reloading illustrator cs2, i need prior version before cs2.  how do i find it?

    if you have a licensed copy of illustrator cs2, even if you find your cs version, you will be unable to activate it because of an issue with adobe's activation servers.

    that's the bad news.  the good news is, if you have a licensed copy of illustrator cs2, you can download a cs2 version that does not need activatation: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.html

    use the serial number posted with the program found via that link.

    Hi ed99992,

    Illustrator CS2 and the version prior to it are very old and out of support scope. We do not have any copies to provide a link for you to download.

    Moreover, CS2 does not reqire previous version to be installed.
