I am trying to install the adobe illustrator (free trial) to my computer but all it does is make my screen flash

I am trying to create an interactive map so I would like to try the adobe illustrator however, when I go to install the free trail and I run the download it just makes my screen flash and nothing happens.  Please help I dont know what to do!!!!

    Cm82937486 do you receive any specific error messages when attempting to download and install Illustrator?  What version of Illustrator are you installing?  Finally which operating system are you using?
