I am trying to re install my Acrobat 8 but I get the trial version instead

for that error, click the link in message 3.

trials are fully functional software once a valid serial number is used to complete activation.

if your old installation was a problem, you would see a different (excess activation count) error.

Eventually I removed all Creative Suit 3 Standard and re installed it – not just the Acrobat and it worked perfect.

use your serial number to activate (help>activate) the trial to a non-trial.

I entered my serial number but it did not work. I wonder why should it install a TRIAL program?
