Question

I am trying to reinstall a version of Photoshop 7 that I purchased back in 2003.

Hi,

The registration screen is not accepting my serial number.
I cannot afford a newer version of Photoshop (I have Indesign and Illustrator as well) and do not want to subscribe to the creative cloud. I had an online chat with a representative and he said that he could not help me, nor could I call for help. I had to rely on the Adobe forums......

In ALL honesty, if I cannot reinstall programs which I bought a long time ago, it's SUPER easy for me to just get a pirated copy. I do not want to do this but I also think it's ridiculous that I cannot reinstall my programs just because they are dated.

Hi, Thank you for your replies.

Turns out that Adobe can help me via a phone call. They wrote me and I will be in touch with them tomorrow. So this worked out well.

Thanks again!

Anything that precedes CS3 is no longer supported with an activations server.  See the following for an alternative...  Error: Activation Server Unavailable | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3

you can try ps cs2, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.html

but if you have a mac, that may not work.
