I am trying to update some of my Creative Cloud apps to 2015 but it keeps saying error and the only code it gives me says -55. Please Help?

So about a month ago I updated my Adobe Creative Cloud system to 2015 and everything was fine.....however when it comes to updating the individual apps some of them would update and others would not. For instance, Dreamweaver, Prelude, Flash Professional, Media encoder, Edge Animate......every time I try to update these apps it keeps saying installation error and that I should contact customer support. The only error code it gives me is ( -55 ). I don't know what to do, I uninstalled the apps that weren't updating and tried to reinstall them, but it didn't work. I'm not sure  what is going on with the apps, I have never had this problem before. Please help?????

Error -55 is an connectivity issue .

Step 1)

Disable Antivirus and firewall temporarioly .

Step 2)

1)Open Control Panel and then click on the option "Network and Internet" .

2)Click on Internet options, click on 'Connections' tab.

3)In the 'Connections' tab, select 'LAN' settings, you will be able to view the Local area network settings box.

4)Check the box-"Automatically Detect Settings" and then "uncheck" all the other check boxes like 'Use automatic configuration script', 'Use a proxy server' , Bypass proxy server' ,then click on ok button .

6)Click on "LAN settings" button again , make sure "Automatically Detect Settings" is the only option selected, keep the LAN properties window open.


Step 3)


Note : If you are using Wireless/ Wifi connection ,  if possible try with Ethernet wired Internet Connection .  [ Optional ]


Try to install CC apps again .

Which OS version are you using? Please check: Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CS5, CS5.5, CS6
