I am unable to open my Photoshop CS 6 on my iMac OS X El Capitan

My Photoshop 6 was working, but does not open today. I have an iMac OS X El Capitan. Any suggestions on how to open it?

That 3+ year old program is not compatible with El Capitan, and it will not be updated by Adobe to work

Different program, but a fix that has worked for some people

Thanks! Only I used it today and have been for some time. But I guess there is no chance of opening it again?
