I purchased Adobe Creative Suite years ago (version 6). Registered and activated. I have an Adobe account. Over the years, I have replaced computers as they die off. On my current laptop, Photoshop startup shows trial activation period has expired, and I must activate product to continue.

I am unable to activate Photoshop online, or by phone ("no longer supported"). In my account, I am unable to register the SN, as it indicates that SN is already registered. My profile shows no registered products.

Any solutions? I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.

Nothing to do with any of this. You simply don't have access to the registry on your computer. Mundane compatibility issues. Try compatibility modes. Otherwise you may need to manually add the serial number key and if even that doesn't work, get used to the thought that you may need new software. It's simply old.

    Bani Verma,

I will explore another Adobe ID... unlikely, but you never know.

    Mylenium,

Photoshop is the only program in the installed group that does not work. Illustrator, Acrobat & ImageReady are fully functional, and show my SN in the startup screen. They are old, and they work. are there any other remedies you can think of? Thank you.

    Hi Michael%20peeler,

Since it says that your serial number is already registered kindly check if you have any other Adobe ID(email address), then please try logging in with that on Adobe: Creative, marketing and document management solutions to locate your serial number.

OK good suggestion on the Adobe ID. Found the ID I had used to register initially.

Here is where I am at: I have my SN. Program is installed. Upon startup, it says "30 day grace period without activation has expired". I am unable to activate PS. Activation screen shows my SN, gives me an activation number, but online activation is no longer offered, phone support is no longer offered. says to go to Adobe/activation, but nothing there (that I can find) to get this done. I have my discs, but reinstall doesn't help.

    Any ideas? Thank you.
