I am upgrading to Acrobat DC and do not have the serial number for the previous version. what do I do?

Check your Adobe account online. If you registered Acrobat XI when you first installed it then you might be able to find the serial number stored there. If not, but you have proof of purchase, you can try contacting Adobe Support to get the serial number information.
