I bought Photoshop Elements 14 on a disk from Amazon, but after registering and downloading, the only option button available was a 30 day free trial. Does this mean that my £64 didn't buy the Photoshop Elements, in which case I have been tricked. If I can't use it after 30 days I am contacting trading standards.

I had already spent at least an hour going through the registration process and had entered the serial number, when I was given the page where the only option button was the 30 day free trial.

I have already been bombarded with two apparently fake and potentially harmful offers of help pretending to be official, wanting my Skype id, which the Adobe website warns about in an easily overlooked warning.
