Question

I bought the Photoshop Elements 2021 and Premiere Elements 2021 and it keeps telling me to buy

I bought the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 / Adobe Premiere Elements 2021, thought i got it installed, and now it is telling me to renew my subscription after I downloaded the new version.  I tried to enter the product code, but it would not recognize the alpha characters so I could get the activation code.  I was under the impression since I spent the large sum for the program so I could get all the features and work from my home computer that I could keep on working on my collective projects.  Well now it is telling me i need to buy the upgrade ( all the while as I have just purchased this new one ).  Now is this going to work or is it going to tell me that i have to have a monthly subscription just to be able to use the software?  I do not use the cloud for any storage because my work is my own.  I choose to do this because i read about too many security breaches by others that have trusted keeping docs in the cloud.  Is this going to work or will i continually have to buy a new app to get the last download to work in a never ending chain of downloads?  You would think with as much as I paid for this software package that everything would work?  Right now I am not happy.  Does customer support have an answer for me?  if so explain it to me.

1st, this is a public forum, not Adobe support

2nd, the Elements programs are not part of a subscription, you enter a serial number and that is all

3rd, Redemption Code to get serial number https://redeem.licenses.adobe.com/getserial

If that doesn't help, contact support
