I appreciate all ideas. I followed your suggestion links and downloaded new version of browsers but I still get the error. 😞  Any additional ideas?

Please go to Adobe Customer Service (make sure to sign in to your Adobe account first and allow popups on your browser) and only ask to have your activations reset:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen will automatically open the chat window.
Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person.

You may also be able to contact Adobe by phone:

I just spent an hour on chat with no results.  I'm amazed how a huge corporation (with I assume a large profit) has no interest in helping designers who spent $5,000+ on their software before forcing us to subscription. It's baffling.  I'm trying to donate a computer to a school and I've invested about 10 hours trying to deactivate this software.  Basically no one at Adobe cares, after all the years of being their customer, they can't even invest in keeping up old deactivion server connection.  I'm speechless.
