I can't install Creative Cloud desktop app due to not enough disk space

I have tried to update my creative cloud desktop app with no success. So after that, I uninstalled the app (and all other adobe apps) and redownloaded it. When I try to install the app, the install fails at around 37%. The creative cloud desktop app says "The installer encountered an error most likely because there is no space on the disk to complete the installation or one of the downloaded files has been corrupted (Error code: 202)" I have about 85GB free space on my C: Drive and 156GB on my 😧 Drive. This must surely be enough space as I previously had CC installed as well as several other Adobe apps such as Premiere Pro and After Effects. Please help? Thanks

if the above fails, do a clean install:
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

check for, and if available, update your os

if windows is your os, repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired (use google if you don't know how to do this)

if windows is your os update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated (use google if you don't know how to do this)

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

NOTE: win 11 users that have trouble with the latest win 10 installer often have success with the older win 10 installer.

Thanks, using the alternative download link seemed to fix the problem.

202 could mean that one or more of the files is corrupted and is not necessarily related to your disk space. Try following the instructions from this post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/download-install-discussions/creative-cloud-desktop-error-202/td-p/9661128
