It says "You can't open the application monitor and sublaunch because Power PC applications are no longer supported." I'm not sure what does it mean. I need help.

CS 2 is an power PC app and not supported on latest Intel processors based Macs.

If you are using older version Mac like OS X 10.6 , you can install Rosetta manually , in order to run CS 2 applications. Rosetta is an binary translator which can make MAC run Power PC  apps.

I have 10.7.5 version. Would that still work?

    No.

Only Macs running OS X 10.6.8 or earlier can run CS2.
