I can't reinstall PSE 2023 as it wasn't deactivated when deinstalled. How do you get around this issue? Currently getting a 'already in use on a maximum no. of computers' window.

I deinstalled PSE 2023 on my Macbook and installed 2026 instead. I want to re-use PSE 2023 on another Macbook but getting the too many activations message. I can’t find a way around this as there is nothing to deactivate and no apparent support from Adobe. Bemused by how crap Adobe is from a support perspective.

Thanks, I was going to try this later as came up with the same thought. Never known any other software to work in this way. Crazy and quite frankly, shockingly poor approach by a software company. You don’t know what you don’t  know and would never check how to deinstall software as the industry tends to do things the same way. Rant over! I’lm update if the above works.

That message means that nobody, not even Adobe support, will be able to help

I have never done this, but I have read that re-installing the program on the computer where you did not properly deactivate, and then deactivating before uninstalling again, MAY work due to the activation information still being on the computer
