I cannot get a free Trial to down load

I asked this in Lightroom and realized that it may not be the right venue:

I give up !  Cannot down load Free Trial, I can buy it though !

I have tried not once, twice but 15 times to down load the free trial with no success.

It keeps showing an error sign and points me to a solutions panel that does not apply to my error notice.

I can pay for the year contract but after getting burned by buying Capture One Pro 8 and not getting the free trail, I want to make sure I like the Organization system.

My concern is a standard one, if the beginning is screwed up, that means that the middle and end will also have issues.

I have an Adobe ID account and I received a "Welcome to Creative Cloud" email.

I checked my apps and I have the Adobe Application manager installed.

Any ideas how I get the free trial ?
I obviously am either doing something wrong or just do not understand the process and that is not make for a good start.
