I cannot get a prompt to download DC Pro software on my worstation

Does anyone know how to prompt for a download?  I was told that I could download to my main workstation and to a laptop, so long as they weren't both in use at the same time.

    install the cc desktop app, Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe CC trial

    and use that app to install your cc and/or acrobat dc subscriptions.
