I cannot install Acrobat XI Pro because of safari notification

I have quit safari from activity monitor, have removed the notification in safari preferences, and I still get an error "Please close the following applications to continue: SafariNotificati". I have taken all the steps that apparently worked for others. Any other ideas?

Hi Crystalepam,

Try to restart the machine and then try to install Acrobat XI Pro.
