I have uninstalled illustrator CC because I haven't installed it with the correct preference I needed (different language), but now in the CC App log it says that the program is up to date and doesn't give me the option to install.

Correct answer heshy c

I got a reply for this one from one of the illustrator team.

Quit the Creative Cloud app and then launch it again. On selecting the "Apps" tab will refresh the list & you will see that AI CC is gone from the "Up to date" list. You can now install AI under the labels "All Apps" or "Find New Apps".

It worked,

Thanks again Raghuveer for your help.

By Quit you mean desinstall? because I have the same issue.

Thx for answering.

I was having this problem myself and I found that the basic unistallation process was not working. In this case, the Adobe CC Cleaner tool worked for me.

I had the same issue.

I just couln't reinstall the Illustrator since the Creative Cloud only offered me the Update option. So, I typed "Illustrator CC" on spotlight and I found the Uninstall Illustrator CC Icon.

I double-clicked and uninstalled the program. Then, I quitted the Creative Cloud App and restarted it. That's it.

This is not working with Lightroom 5.  I uninstalled because I did not set the install location correctly.  No matter what I do (reboot, close restart creative cloud desktop app) it shows LR 5 being installed.  It worked with PS CC but Lightroom seems to be causing an issue.  This is under win 8 64 bit.

I'm getting the same issue with Muse CC - I uninstalled, now i wish to re-install however Creative Cloud Desktop is simply saying that it's already up to date leaving me unable to re-download and install.

Any ideas??
