I cant update Creative Cloud or any of my apps...

Creative cloud indicated that I had several updates to do.  When I opened it it needed an update itself, but wouldn't update or finish downloading.  So I downloaded the uninstall app and got rid of it.  Now I tried to re-download the CC desktop app but the CC desktop app page wont load. "webpage not available".  No matter how I try to get to a download page it gives me the same error.  What up?  It seems I can use the Adobe Application Manager in the mean time.  Any suggestions?
