I did a refresh of Windows 8 and need to reinstall Production Premium CS6 and Lightroom 4.

Do I have to install the previous versions or is there a menu to add previous numbers?

Believe what you are saying you have to do a clean install of the programs. Install and then update.

No, a refresh of Windows 8. Some programs are still on the computer but all of Adobe products and a few others are gone. Microsoft Research walked me through the process. Now I need to reinstall the Adobe products. Is there a menu when installing an upgrade or do I have to install previous versions?

No need to re-install earlier versions first. The upgrades include the full program code.

Just re-install PP CS6 and LR4, enter your serial number.

If it's an upgrade serial number, the installer will ask you to enter the serial number from an earlier qualifying version. Then the install will complete.
