I download the adobe installer, then when I click the desktop application I get the same installer, which downloads itself [title edited; was: Help Please ASAP -mod]

Im on my iMac, and I download the adobe installer from adobe, open it, type in the admin password, it says inizalizing on a loading screen, then downloading installer, then when i click the desktop application i get the same installer, which downloads itself. I need help urgently.
