I downloaded and installed the software and it ran a couple of times. However, now when I click on the app icon, the program doesn't start up. I tried to uninstall the program using Windows control panel, but it doesn't uninstall. I'm using Windows 8

I downloaded and installed the software and it ran a couple of times. However, now when I click on the app icon, the program doesn't start up. I tried to uninstall the program using Windows control panel, but it doesn't uninstall. I'm using Windows 8. If this doesn't work, I'll need to cancel my annual subscription. I'm trying to use lightroom.

Hi Paul,

I would request you to please follow the steps below:

  1. Open task manager by right-clicking the taskbar, and then clicking Start Task Manager.
  2. Click on the processes panel.
  3. End all the processes related to Adobe.
  4. Relaunch the Creative Cloud Desktop Application.

  1. Open task manager by right-clicking the taskbar, and then clicking Start Task Manager.
  2. Click on the processes panel.
  3. End all the processes related to Adobe.
  4. Relaunch the Creative Cloud Desktop Application.
