I get a "Done with Errors" message and my photoshop CS4 failed to load

I attempted to reload photoshop CS$ on a new hard drive from my original CS4 program disk.  I get a message "Done with Errors" and "CS4 failed to install correctly and need to be reinstalled."

I close all adobe products, firewall, virus protection and reboot with another failure.

I went to Adobe site and downloaded from the site and when attempting to reinstall I get same messages.

    uninstall ps cs4 using the adobe uninstaller, run the cleaner (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and then retry installing.
