I am having the same problem as FCSScheidt. The application manager begins to update and then I get a message that the "Adobe genuine software check has determined my software is counterfeit"

I tried to follow the instructions for the install log for listed on the link for Windows 64 bit (XP, Vista, 7) (Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers)

, but there is not a log for the Application manager.

I also went into C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\AdobeApplicationManager\AAMSetup and ran the setup file and got a screen that says "your installation encountered errors. please try restarting your system and instaling again. Installer failed to initialize." Of course restarting does nothing.

Branched this out to a new discussuon.

For the Adobe Genuine Software error please try downloading a new copy of the install files.  Please see Genuine Verification failure downloading or installing | CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/genuine-verification-failure.html for additional details.
