I go to click on the install button for lightroom and nothing happens

I get to the prompt and it pops up with the button to install it and I push it and is just slightly grays out and then nothing. I paid what gives. Photoshop does the same thing.

Please follow the steps below.

  1. Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app.
  2. Delete the opm.db file from the following location:
  • Mac OS: Mac HD/Users/<user account>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
     <user account> is your user-specific folder.                                                            
      The <user account> /Library/ folder is hidden by default in Mac OS 10.7 and later. To access it, see Access hidden user library files.
  • Windows: C:\Users\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE folder
       The AppData folder is hidden by default. To access it, see Show hidden files, folders, filename extensions.
  3. Launch the Creative Cloud desktop app and sign in using your Adobe ID (usually your e-mail address) and password.

I have absolutely no idea what any of the technical info means. None whatsoever. Can u not send simple instructions. I pay for this app and canyget the update. It's a disgrace

reset the cc desktop app: make sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

then click open or update or install.
