My old laptop quit and I can't get my software to activate. I had called support some time back when my tower died and they told me they reset the counter for installs. I never got around to reinstalling on the new tower since I used the laptop. Now I don't have it on either machine and I need it. Help!

I guess since I'm not trying to use the latest and greatest CS suite Adobe doesn't care if I can use it or not. All I want is for my CS3 suite to install on my new laptop so that I can use Photoshop. I am retired and no longer need to keep current with the software. I just need to be able to do the things I want to do for myself. Adobe abandoned printers and now they are abandoning those who don't use the newest software. This is what software activation gets you. I can see now why so many get hacked software. Adobe doesn't care.

Will that make the new laptop register? Seems counter intuitive to remove the software from the new laptop.
