Question

I have 10.6.8 Mac system and i cannot download any design programmes as not supported. Can anyone advise please?

I am trying to download programmes to try for doing a magazine layout. First of all I am not sure which programme is best as I will also need to teach myself but want a good quality programme. Secondly and most frustratingly is that my MAc is running on 10.6.8 system which is not supported by Adobe's creative design packages Can anyone advise please what to do?

Hi Caroc75,

The only option what you have is to update your Operating System. Adobe latest applications do not work on MAC 10.6.8, for clarifications you can follow the article: System requirements | Creative Cloud and check the system requirements the applications you want to use.

Hi caroc75,

I certainly understand your situation, what I would suggest is, you should try to install CS 6 software on 10.6.8.

Later if you wish you can upgrade both your OS and software.

HI

I have now tried a few times to download both InDesign AND Illustrator with no success. The connection keeps going and it will not allow me to reload as I don't have 'permisison'. I have never had any issues downloading before in terms of my own internet connection so wondering if anyone else has had issues with this???

It is pushing me over the edge now...!!!

I would suggest, that you should try to download it on another machine if possible with another network. You can get the setup file in flash drive/Pen drive to your own machine.
