i have a creative cloud subscription for after effects but it is still asking me for a serial number.

am i supposed to get a serial with a cc subscription? if so i can't find it anywhere under my products / etc. My computer is connected to the internet and as far as i know everything is updated.

Launch any After Effects

Click on License This software and choose Not my Adobe ID

Then sign in with the email address which is used to purchase the subscription

If it is still asking for serial number, please check your hosts file entries
